We can test the presence of carbon dioxide in exhaled air by the following experiment :
⇒ Take a closed test tube filled with limewater
⇒ Now use a syringe to let in the atmospheric air , we will observe that the lime water turns slightly milky
⇒ Now use your moth to blow air from your mouth to another test tube filled with lime water
⇒ We will observe that the lime water turns milky and produces a precipitate of CaCO₃ (Calcium Carbonate)
