Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) 4x +6y = 5 .............................(1)

    2x +9y = 3..............................(2)

On multiplying by 2 in equation (2)

we get , 4x + 18y = 6 .............................(3)

on subtarcting equation (1) from (3)

we get, 4x+ 18y-4x -6y = 6-5

             12y = 1

                 y=1/12

now on putting this value in equation (1)

4x + 1/2 =5

4x = 9/2

x = 9/8

(ii) 5x+4y =4 ....................(1)

    x-12y=20 .....................(2)

  on multiplying by 3 in equation (1)

we get, 15x +12y =12..............................(3)

on adding equation (2) and (3)

we get, 16x =32

 x=2

and on putting this value in equation in (2)

we'll get y= -3/2

Answer:

4 x + 6 y equal 5 x but 2

to multiply + 9 y = 5 multiply 4

8x + 8y = 10

8x + 36y= 12

- -. -

24y = 2

y=1 o upon 2.

this is the answer of first part

now I am writing the second part same question

8x + 12y = 0

8 x equals 10 - 12y.

88 is equals to 10 -12 multiply 1 upon 12 both the 12 supposed to cut buy one

8 = 10 - 1
