Concept:

We first need to recall the  concept of blood relations in reasoning to solve this question.

Blood relation is defined as the relation between two or more persons who have same parents or ancestors.

Any relation which is either by birth or by marriage.

Given:

A, B, C, D, E and F are six members in a family related to each other by the conditions listed.

To find:

The relation between the member E and member F.

Solution:

The given conditions state that

(1) there are two married couples in the family.

(2) D and F are brother and both are lighter than B.

(3) B is the mother of D and lighter than E.

(4) C, a lady, is neither heaviest nor the lightest in the family.

(5) E is lighter than C.

(6) The grandfather in the family is the heaviest.

from all these conditions we  get information  of every person as:

A and C are couples.

C is grandmother and A is grandfather.

B and  E are couples.

B is daughter-in-law and E is son, of A and C.

D and F are grandchildren to A and C.

From all these we conclude that E is father of F.
