Answer:

side of the cube= 50cm

radius of cylinders= 7cm

wastage= 12%

no. of cylinders made= 10

height of one cylinder= ?

Solution:

=>Volume of a cube= a^3

=> (50)^3

=> 125000cm^3

=> 12% wastage= 12/100×125000

=> volume of 10 cylinders= 15000cm^3

=> volume of one cylinder= 15000/10

=> volume of one cylinder= 1500cm^3

=> 1500= πr^2h

=> 1500= 22/7×7×7×h

=> 1500/154= h

=> h= 9.74cm

therefore, the height of one cylinder is 9.74cm
