I agree 100% on pro athletes’ salaries being fair. Opposingly, some people say otherwise. I agree with you because the athletes are dedicated to playing the game they love, fans are paying good money to watch them play, and the players are on busted knee or bad head injury to end their career.

The athletes are dedicated to playing the game they love. The athletes are training and giving it their all in order to entertain fans. Players are always trying to make the game winning catch in the 9th inning or make that clutch buzzer beater or that touchdown in the 4th quarter. Players are not only doing it for us, but also for the fans like us.

Fans are paying good money to watch the athletes play. Whenever the players walk off the court or the field, they worked hard in order to give the fans what they paid to see. The money the fans paid ends up in the players paycheck. Like I said, they are putting a show on for the fans.

An athlete is a busted knee or bad head injury from ending their careers. Derek Jeter for example, was a great “Yankee” but he suffered a dislocated left shoulder in a collision at third base on opening day in 2003. This injury gave him problems when fielding and hitting even though he made 3,000 hits in his final season. Or Joe Theismann. He was hit so hard, a comminuted compound fracture of the tibia and fibula in his right leg during a sack by linebacker Lawrence Taylor. That LITERALLY ended his career.

In conclusion, I agree with you on your claim because the athletes are dedicated to the sport they play, fans are paying good money in order to watch the athletes play, and the players are one busted knee or bad head injury away to a career ending trip (as you can see from Joe Theismann and Derek Jeter.) I hope you get this let
