The biggest six digit number is 999,999...if every one of the digits in your number are the same, you will wind up with six digits that are all the same again after you subtract from 999,999.

Since the total of the digits in the wake of subtracting is 6, and you have 6 digits, at that point every digit is a 1 and the distinction of 999,999 and the number you are searching for is 111,111.

So what number would you subtract from 999,999 to get 111,111? I wager you see it currently, it's 888,888.
