• AO distance = 30m
• AB distance = 40m
• BC distance = 60m

• Consider point X in the line of A, draw AX perpendicular to CD
• AX distance = BC = 60m
• DX distance = DC-AB = 80- 40 = 40m
• XO distance = AX + AO = 60 + 30 = 90m
• OD = √(XO²+DX²)
• OD = √(90²+40²)
• OD = 98.5m

The person is 98.5m from the starting point.
