Water, having its origins in numerous ancient languages like old Anglo Saxon, old German and old Norse, is a colorless, odorless & tasteless fluid which forms the world's streams, lakes, oceans, icecaps, glaciers, the poles, ground water and rain. Some of the Earth’s water supply is temporarily locked up within the many lifeforms found across the Earth. This water makes up a majority of most organisms, and is a critical component, making the processes of life possible. Some organisms are made up of 95% water, while almost all the rest are more than half water.

Chemically,  water is a molecule of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. Water is mostly found in its liquid state at standard ambient temperatures and pressure but it also co-exists on earth with its solid state(ice) as well as in gaseous state(steam). It has a unique property of expanding as it freezes. Because water expands becoming less dense, frozen water, more commonly known as ice, floats. This is very important because it protects the water underneath, insulating it from freezing.

some key points u can use are :-

1) Water a basic need
about 70℅ of our body contains water..

important natural resource...we use water in our homes schools offices and other places where we spend time..

This wonderful liquid covers nearly three fourths of total surface of earth...it provide a suitable medium for several life processes to take place in living organisms..

The amount of water recommended by United Nation for drinking cooking washing for hygiene is minimum of 50 litres per person per day..

so problem ahead you is acute shortage of fresh water which is a cause of concern not only in India but also throughout the world ..

households can save water by promptly fixing leaks or dropping tap.. :-(a dropping tap can result in a loss of upto 72 litres of water everyday..

Recycling of water is very important:-( you can perform this process at home ..for example ..water which is used in cleaning utensils can be used to water plants in the garden..

By rainwater harvesting..:-( this system helps us to use rainwater directly. Rainwater can be used to recharge ground water..
