I am left with₹1200 after spending 75% of my pocket money. How much pocket money I had in the beginning

Here is your answer !!

Let the total money he had in the beginning be x .
Sum of money spent = 75% of x
= 75x/100 .
Money left = Rs 1200

So , ATQ ,
x - 75x/100 = 1200
=> 25x / 100 = 1200
=> x / 4 = 1200
=> x = Rs 4800 . (Ans)
