i am lost in the soaps and detergent part of carbon and its compoumd can someone explain it to me in breif?

soap is the sodium salt (potassium salt)of long chain of carboxylic acid which has cleasning property in water ther are 2 type of soap sodium stearate and sodium palmitate .soap is made of animals fat with vegetable oil .
detergent are also called as soap because they act like a soap and has cleasning property .detergent is the sodium salt of long chain of benzene sulphonic acid or the sodium salt of long chain of alkyl hydrogen sulphate . i hope it will help u
