Biology, asked by brycehodges32, 1 year ago

I am not made up of cells. Instead I am made up of a set of genes that are held inside a protective shell. I do not have a nucleus or organelles. I can not control my internal environment. I am organized in an ordered way. I can multiply my genetic information, but I need a host cell to help me copy my genes. I do not grow. When I reproduce, I make full grown copies of myself. I get my energy from the host cell where I live. I can adapt to my environment. What am I?
