i am thinking of a number, if I add 3 to it, multiply the result by 2, subtract 4 and divide by 7, the number I end up is 2, what was the number I first through of? With solutions.

The equation formed is ( 2 ( x + 3)) -4 / 7 = 2
Therefore
2x+6-4/7 = 2
2x + 2 = 14
x = 6
