I am three times as old as son. five years later i shall be two and a half times as old as my son. ehat is the age

mine is=3x

5 yrs later,
3x+5=2.5×(x+5)
3x-2.5x=1.5×5
.5x=1.5×5
x=15

son's age=15, mine=3×15=45

Let's see this illustration....

Son's age.....= x
My age...... = 3x

After 5 years ....

3x + 5 = 2.5x ( x + 5 )
3x - 2.5 = 1.5*5
5x = 1.5*5
x= 15

So...

Son's age is 15

My age is 3x
3*15 = 45.…..
