Caste can also play an important role in politics like :
WHILE CHOOSING A CANDIDATE:
when parties choose candidates in elections they keep in mind the caste composition of the electorate and nominate candidates from different caste so as to get necessary support to win election
WHILE FORMING GOVERNMENT:
Political parties usually take care that representatives of different castes and tribes find a place in the government.
WHILE CAMPAIGNING:
political parties and candidates make appeal to people to give them votes on the basis of castes.
UNIVERSAL ADULT FRANCHISE & THE PRINCIPLE OF ONE PERSON ONE VOTE:
it has compelled to potential leaders to raise caste based issues during elections, they do so to mobilise and secure support.

Heya!
Here's your answer!

THE IRRESISTIBLE DRASTIC GOVERNMENT..

it's been a matter of fifteen years..and fifteen years is too long a time to put in custody a man..who has been the accused of exploiting women's respect since ... that time..yes.. indeed I am speaking of Ram Rahim Singh ji Insan...the ruler of the religious groups..dera Sacha sauda. .
he has been an accused of raping two women..who had written a letter to Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.. regarding the issue..
when on 25 th August..the sentencing in court happened and gained headlines..
his luxurious lifestyle was being talked of..
alongwith..the life-taking of 36 People with 250+ injured due to Street aggression near Panchkula Haryana...

they burned houses... private property..
with the police helpless..
Haryana is burnt..and the government is sitting right and has nothing to speak... except bluffing the public whom they regard as vote banks.. only..

ONE THING GO NOTE: NO ONE HAD A SINGLE WORD OF EMPATHY FOR THE TWO WOMEN WHO WERE HARASSED!!

why did these nasty things happen?
plainly due to the fact that the government supported Everybody's destructive policies!

this example explains everything...
how the government of today's day functions...
A federal form of Indian democracy under which a government at the Center is responsible for the Parliament and there are separate governments for the state which are equally responsible for their legislative assemblies. Elections are held at regular intervals in many states of India. In these elections, many parties compete to win the government in the center and the states. Often people are encouraged to use their right to choose the most qualified candidate, but even then caste is a major factor in Indian politics, in influencing electoral processes....

but these things are totally corrupted today..
but these were the things that made government right?

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
