I ate 2 by 7 of a packet of toffees on Monday and 3 by 11 of the packet on Tuesday what fraction of toffees are are left in the packet? ​please answer fast its urgent

No. of toffees eaten on Monday=2/7

No. of toffees eaten on Tuesday=3/11

First, add the fractions to find out how much is eaten

2/7+3/11

By LCM method it becomes:

22/77+21/77

=43/77

Now that we know how many toffees were eaten, let's find out how many are left by subtraction.

The total no. of toffees in the packet =1=77/77

77/77-43/77

=34/77

So 34/77 of the toffees are left uneaten.
