i borrowed 500 rs at a rate of 10%for a period of two years by pavan for simple interest and balaji for compound intrest for the same rate, who paid the extra intrest

for pavan. ..here in case of SI = PTR/100=500*2*10/100=100 Rs
again for Balaji ...here in case of CI= A-P
or CI=P (1+r/100)^n-P=500 (1+10/100)^2-500
or CI =500 (11/10)^2-500
=500*121/100-500
=605-500=105 Rs
hence CI=105 Rs
SI= 100 rs ....so Balaji paid the extra interest
