Hello yaar,

Given,

Base = 8cm

Height = 4cm

Area of a triangle = 1/2 × b×h

=b×h/2

= 8cm × 4cm /2

= 32cm^2/2

= 16cm^2

Therefore option B is correct.

Hope it helps u..

Area of a triangle=1/2 × Base × height (altitude)

Base=8cm
Height=4cm

Area of Δ = 1/2 × 8 × 4
               =4×4=16 cm²

So the answer is Option (B) 16cm²
