Let
p(x)=x^3+3x^2+1
If p(x) divided by x+1
Then the remainder is p(-1)
p(-1)=(-1)^3+3(-1)^2+1
=-1+3+1
=3

p(x)=x³+3x²+1
g(x)=x+1
x+1=0
x= -1
If p(x) is divided by g(x),then the remainder is p(-1).

p(-1)=(-1)³+3(-1)²+1
p(-1)=-1+3(1)+1
p(-1)=-1+3+1
p(-1)=3
