I cant understand the difference b/w indirect development and metamorphosis

when after fertilization it shows larva stage for development then it is called indirect development.

All shows indirect development.. except aschelmenthis (it shows both direct as well as indirect)

⭐⭐It is the STAGES of development from larva to adult... Here focus on word stages.
