Given :-

x : x - 4 = 3

To Find :-

The Value of "x" respectively .

Solution :-

Here , we can see that the L.H.S is in ratio and can be written as ,

 \frac{x}{x - 4}  = 3

By cross Multiplication,

3 × ( x - 4 ) = x × 1

3x - 12 = x

3x - x = 12

2x = 12

x = 12/2 = 6

Hence , the required answer is 6 .
