Downfall of Griffin was because of his selfish, impulsive and over confident attitude. He invented a formula that helped him to get vanish but he used his invention of becoming invisible for personal gain and revenge. He started stealing, robbing and ended up killing many people. He used his evil intentions against those people who refused to take his side. Dr. Kemp persuaded him but he didn't listen to him and eventually he met with an accident.

Griffin was obsessed with the idea of becoming invisible because he wanted to end up all troubles. His dream of playing a game against the race came true after a lot of hardships, he became invisible but his happiness was just short lived.

He faced so many problems like:

• In order to become invisible, Griffin had to take off all his clothes. But being cloth less would led him to death in the winter.

• His father committed suicide because of him.

• In rain and snow, it would make an outline of him so he could easily be caught and imprisoned.

• He had not any friend because he didn’t want to tell his secret to anyone.

In this way he faced a lot problems and destroyed everything. So, the downfall of Griffin is all because of his stubbornness.
