Burn a candle in front of u on a table. Take a straight pipe and observe the light. Then take a curved pipe and again observe the light........

U will observe that with the straight pipe, u cn observe the light, bt on the other hand, with curved pipe, u can't observe the light...

Hence proved.......

Light travel In a straight line, this mode of travelling is actually known as the rectilinear propagation of light....
