(i) If the integer is positive, then  a*(-1) = -a
If the integer is 0 (zero), then a*(-1)=0
If the integer is negative, then a*(-1)= |a|

Generally, a*(-1) = -a

(ii)
The integer whose product with (-1) is 5   is  (- 5).
