\maltese Given:-

  • Divisor = 102
  • Dividend = 3269
  • Remainder = 5

\maltese To find:-

Quotient

\maltese SOLUTION :-

As we know the relation between divisior , remainder, quotient, dividend is

(Divisior)(Quotient) + Remainder= Dividend

Substituting the values  we get,

(102 )(Quotient )+ 5 = 3269

102(Quotient) = 3269 - 5

102(Quotient) = 3264

Quotient = \dfrac{3264}{102}

Quotient = \dfrac{1632}{51}

Quotient =\dfrac{544}{17}

Quotient = 32
