Past perfect tense is used to express two types of actions which occurred or completed in the past.
This is usually considered with had not most me with the college.
Then started in past and continued as I had gone to college.
Then, it is started in past and continued for past tense.

Here is your answer..
What is past perfect tense?
The PAST PERFECT TENSE indicates that an action was completed (finished or "perfected") at some point in the past before something else happened.
So the past perfect tense of this sentence is :
I had gone to college.
Hope it helps you.
