 \mathbb{ HELLO!}

Let's take x & y:

x = Quantity of orange picks

y = Quantity of green picks

There are 2 orange picks for every 5 green. so we get the equation

↪5x=2y

There are 21 picks. So we get the second equation as

↪x+y=21

So, we have two equations with two unknowns:

5x=2y----> (1)

x+y=21----> (2)

From (2):

x=21-y

Substituting x in (1):

5(21-y)=2y

Y=15

Substituting y=15 in (2) and clearing x, we have:

X=6

So the answer is 6 orange picks
