Step-by-step explanation:
let the no. of 5rupees coin be x
so,the no. of 10 rupees coin 20-x
a/q,
5x+ 10(20-x)=145
=> 5x+200-10x=145
=> -5x=145-200
=> -5x= -55
=> x=-55/-5
=> x=11
So,no. of 5rupees coin be x is 11
then,no. of 10rupees coin 20-x is 20-11=9
CHECK
LHS
= 5x+10(20-x)
= 5×11+10(20-11)
= 55+10×9
= 55+90
= 145✓
RHS
= 145✓
so,LHS=RHS verified
