see you can say that our surroundings are never 100% our way, our surroundings are determined by a lot of people, only partially our surroundings can be determined by us. so we need to understand that what influences us should be our making. what can influence us should be determined by us only. see if you say that other people can influence your moral values, if other people can decide what should happen with/within you, isnt this the ultimate slavery? huh? what happens around you can never be yours, but what happens within you should be 100% yours. by that being said we can say that our moral values are to be influenced by other people around us or not depends upon US only!
