I have a problem that how graphite can't be a metalloid as it has the properties of both metal and non metal

Hi friend,
Graphite is a carbon . it is a nonmetal for 99.999 % of existence. Only under very spcial conditions does it demonstrate metalloid chartarterist .......i hope it helps you

It is because it is only a non-metal...not a metalloid .it is a part of carbon.
