Step-by-step explanation:

let the no of rs 5 coins be x

then , the no of rs 2 coins be 3x

the no of rs 1 is coins be 160-(x-3x)

160-4x

amount from rs 5 coins =5 ×x =5x

" from rs 2 coins = 2×3x =6x

" from rs 1 coins = 1 × (160-4x)

160-4x

According to question

total amount = rs 300

=5x+6x+160-4x=300

7x+160=300

7x=300-160

7x=140

x=140/7

x=20

hence the number of 5x coins = 20

rs 2 coins 3×20 =60

rs 1 coins = 160-4x×20

160-80x

x=160-80=80.
