i have grown wheat plant in my garden,because I like plants.whether I am growing a wheat crop?give reason.

You can say you are growing a wheat crop because wheat is planted with an intended purpose of beneficial output. The output is harvested of the crop. But you don't do same in the case of an plant just like rose. You plant it for its beauty not far a desired output which could be harvested.
