I have heard that root 3 is 1.69... but when I tried to calculate it the answer came as 1.73...
Please tell me which is correct and why there are two versions of root 3?

there are in two versions of root 3 the answer will be always 1.732 and so on

According to calculator it is 1.73......
But
Scientist and Mathematician use a different way of calculating irrational decimals.
I don't know that way. So I am sorry but I know this type of way is used in the value of π and it was founded by S. Ramanujan
