Explanation:

Hey mate !

Question:-

I have invited my friends. Pick out the Object and day whether it is Transitive or intransitive verb ?

Answer:-

I have invited my friends.

Have invited = Transitive verb

Object = My friends (Direct object)

Reason:-

To identify whether a verb is transitive or intransitive,we have to check that is the verb agreeing/has answer to what and whom or not. If it has answer, then it is transitive and if not then intransitive verb.

Also,to identify whether an object is direct or indirect,we have to see that if the "whom" answer of the verb is the direct object and the "what" answer of the verb is indirect object.

hope it helps you....

Answer:

Transitive verb

Explanation:

  • A transitive verb can be defined as “that is required an object that is direct. It can be called by a Noun, pronoun and phrases of Noun which will follow a verb and it will complete a sentence meaning with respect to person or a thing with an action of any verb”.
  • There are different types of transitive verb. They are:

1) mono transitive which has only one object.

2)Di- transitive which has two objects

3) Complex- transitive which has an object and complement.

From the above question given:

We can understand that:

I have invited my friends.

That Have invited is called as an Transitive verb.

My friends is called as a object.

Here, we are identifying with the verb agreement.

For the object we found about the direct or indirect form of addressing with respect to who it was.
