The largest possible sum of the digits of the number of cakes i have is equal to 7.

Let the number of strawberry cakes be equal to x.

Given , x < 50.

The strawberries are equally distributed amongst 10 friends and three cakes are left over.

So there are 43 cakes out of which 40 are distributed among 10 friends (4 each) and three are left.

Sum of the digits = 4+3 = 7
