you have to divide x³+3x²+3x+1 by x+1.

step 1: check what should be multiplied with x to get x³ as result.(ans is x²)

step2: multiply x² with x+1. Then you will get
x³+x² as result.

step3: change the sign of the result ( that is x³+x²) then you will get -x³-x².
<*remember sign conversion is necessary*>

____OR_____

step3: subtract x³+x² in x³+3x²+3x+1. you will get 2x²+3x+1 as your result.

repeat the above steps until you get the remainder zero.

(you will notice that in other questions remainder may or may not come zero.
if remainder is not zero then you can divide until you get a remainder with degree less than that of your questiont. After getting this remainder, stop the division.)
