I have some 5 rupee coins and some 2 rupee coins. The number of 2 rupee coins is 4 times that of 5 rupee coins is 4 times that of 5 rupee coins .if I have Rs 117 in all, find the number of coins of each denomination

two rupees coins=4×five rupee coins,

then

₹2 coins:₹5 coins = 4:1,

let
₹2 coins =4A,

₹5 coins=A,

then

₹2×4A+₹5×A=₹117,

8A+5A=117,

13A=117,

then

A=117/13=9,

therefore
₹2 coins=4×9=36,

₹5 coins=9
