Question:-

I have some five rupee coin andsome two rupee coin the number of two rupee coin is twice the number five rupee coin.how many five and two rupee coin if I have 108 rupees.

Given:-

  • Total sum of money with me is 108 Rs.
  • The number if two rupees is twice than the numberof 5 rupees.

To find:-

  • The number of coins of 5 rupees and 2 rupees.

Solution:-

  • Let the number of 5 rupees coin be x
  • Then the number of 2 rupees coin will be 2x.

↝5×x +2(2x) = Rs.108

↝5x +4x =108

↝9x=108

↝x =  \frac{108}{9}

↝x= 12.

  • Therefore the number of 5 rupees coin is 12.

So the number of 2rupees coin will be = 2×12=24 .

 \boxed{ \mathfrak{ \blue{number \: of \: 5 \: rupees \: coin = 12}}}

 \boxed{ \mathfrak{ \blue{number \: of \: 2\: rupees \: coin = 24}}}

Verification:-

  • 5 rupees = 5× 12=60
  • 2 rupees =2×24=48

 \rightarrow  \: 60 + 48

  \rightarrow108
