Question :–

I have x number of fruits. If 30% of my fruits are apples and I have 15 apples. How many fruits do I have ?

To Find :–

  • How many fruits I have.

Solution :–

Let the total number of apples be x.

x \times  \frac{30}{100}  = 15

x =  \cancel{15} \times  \frac{100}{ \cancel{30}}

x =  \frac{ \cancel{100}}{ \cancel{2}}

x = 50

Hence,

The total number of fruits I have = 50 fruits.
