1)our body adapt to low oxygen availability at high altitude by producing the large number of rbcs, reducing the oxygen affinity with Hb and decreasing the rate of respiration
2) because small animal has large surface area as compared to its volume so they cannot maintain their body tempt that's why it becomes difficult for their survival
