(1) PN junction are formed by joining n type and P type semiconductors material since the n-type region has high electron concentration.and P type and P type has a higher holes concentration .electron diffuse from n type side to p type side .

(2) full wave rectification by diode -full wave rectification convert both polarities of the input wave from to pulsating direct current and yield a higher average output voltage.two diode and Centre tapped Transformer and 4 diodes in a bridge configuration and any AC source (including a transformer without a Centre taps),are needed.

(3) logic NAND Gates are available using digital circuits to produce the desired logical function and is given a symbol whose shape is that of a standard AND Gate with a circle sometimes called an inversion bubble.
