What is induced e.m.f? Write Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. Explain it mathematically. A conducting rod of length ‘l’, with one end pivoted, is rotated with a uniform angular speed ‘ω’ in a vertical plane, normal to a uniform magnetic field ‘B’. Deduce an expression for the emf induced in this rod.

Induced EMF. An Electromotive Force or EMF is said to be induced when the flux linking with a conductor or coil changes

First Law of Faraday's Electromagnetic Induction state that whenever a conductor are placed in a varying magnetic field emf areinduced which is called induced emf, if the conductor circuit are closed current are alsoinduced which is called induced current.
