This line in the story “The Summer of The Beautiful White Horse” connotes the fact that Aram’s cousin Mourad has a persona that is distinctive from the common people of the tribe.
It was by mistake that he fell into the world that his tribe belonged to.
He has his own little world where he enjoys to the fullest and holds no relation with the ordinary folks.

The line rightly sums up Mourad's character. He did not believe in suppressing and curbing his desires. He believed in fulfilling them. He wanted to live each moment of his life to the fullest as is exemplified by his stealing a horse to enjoy riding it
