In the poem 'Lord Ullin's Daughter' the lady tells the boatman to hurry through the storm. She compares the angry sky to her angry father and is willing to face the sky in the storm than her father's wrath. She is sure that if she meets her father her lover will die but in the face of the storm there is still a chance for them and their love to survive.
