the resultant resistance = 7 ohm + ( 1/5 + 1/10)
= 7 ohm + (2/10 + 1/10)
= 7 ohm + (3/10) ohm
= 21/3+ 10/3
= 31/3
= 10.33 ohm
V = I×R
I = V/R
= 6/10.33
= 600/1033
= .58 A
the voltage across 7 ohm resistor is 6V
