I m a student of class 11 I go to an institute but I m not understanding why everyone is chasing IIT by studying subjects which have no practical application I m feeling depressed as everyday I just think about this that whether I should also do like they do or study subject that I like i.e cs

The topics which we study right now are to test us of whether on not we have the capability to be given huge responsibilities.
Yet , it is not necessary to do only IIT , it's your choice!
You have to choose your life , the way you want to lead it , the way you want it to be not someone else.Do what you think you can do the best , flourish in subjects you are slightly weak in and do all your works whole heartedly.
