I'm having a doubt on an answer of a question.
The question is,"A student takes some zinc granules in a test tube and
adds dil. HCl to it. He would observe that the colour
of zinc granules changes to :
(a) brown
(b) black
(c) yellow
(d) white"
and the answers, given in most of the websites, are - BLACK.
But as far as I know, the color of zinc chloride, which is gonna form after the following reaction, is WHITE.
so, someone please help me out of this dilemma.
