a)  P(choosing a girl)=  No.of favourable outcomes/Total no. of outcomes

   i.e. 16/40  = 2/5

b)  P( choosing an A student)=     10/40   i.e. 1/4

c)   P( choosing a boy) =       24/40    i.e. 3/5

d)   P(choosing a boy who is an A student) =   6/40   i.e. 3/20
