The enzyme which catalyses the transcription of hnRna is DNA independent RNA polymerase.
Eukaryotic hnRNA requires changes because with exons ,introns are also present which are unnecessary information and do not appear in mature RNA.
To remove these introns ,a process called Splicing and capping takes place.
RNA splicing, in molecular biology, is a form of RNA processing in which a newly made precursor messenger RNA (pre-mRNA or hnRNA) transcript is transformed into a mature messenger RNA (mRNA). During splicing, introns are removed and exons are joined together.
These changes takes place inside the nucleus.
