why is the series arrangement is not used for domestic circuits??

(1) In series arrangement same current will flow through all the appliances, which is not required.

(2) Total resistance of domestic circuit will be sum of the resistance of all appliances and hence current drawn by the circuit will be less.

(3) We cannot use independent on/off switches with individual appliances.

Hello friend ...here is your answer ...☺☺

Following are some reasons that series combination is not used as domestic circuit :-
● In series combination there is unequal flow of voltage therefore , if we applied a heavy appliance at first then other appliances , small appliances would not work properly . Because it will consume most of the potential difference.

=======》 so , in a domestic circuit we need to join all the heavy appliances like AC , refrigerator etc. Therefore small appliances will not work properly in a series combination .

● In series combination if there is destruction of one appliances then other appliances also doesn't work . Because at that point circuit breaks out and there is no flow of current to rest over .

======》 In domestic circuit , usually one or two appliance destruct . So if series combination , rest over appliances will not work properly .

● In series combination , if we switch off one appliance then all the appliances turned off . Because all are connected with each other in such a way .

======》 in domestic circuit , it creates too much problems . As we switch off one tubelight then all the appliances switch off immediately .

☆☆☆Therefore , we can say that series combination is not suitable for domestic circuits .☆☆☆☆

Hope it will help u .....☺
