The spider tries to convince the fly to come into her web... But the fly rejects the offer... The spider tries to tempt her with food and comfort but the fly knows that once you get in there, you're never gonna get outta there... Hope you understood...

In the poem ‘Mrs. Spider’s Parlour’, the clever spider is trying its best to invite and trap the fly, in her web.
She tries to evoke sympathy from the fly, by saying that all her neighbours such as the moth, beetle etc. are shy and therefore do not call on her. She tries to paint a picture of loneliness. But the clever fly, having heard from other insects, of the Mrs. Spider’s web, which is compared to her dining room, turns around and flies away.
